The best part of my job is strategizing with customers on how to utilize construction technology to reach their goals in the most efficient way possible.
Summarize what you do on a weekly basis:
I spend time every week training customers on how to utilize construction GPS technology, along with working with our Dobbs parts and service teams to keep that technology up and running.
What are the top 3 skills you pride yourself in that relate to your job:
I pride myself on my ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, working with customers on creative ways to apply technology on their jobsite, and my ability to train equipment operators to get the most out of their machines and the technology on them.
What are your favorite equipment technology products and why:
My favorite would be the ever reliable Hiper VR and FC6000. That system is nearly endless in the capabilities it possesses in measuring, processing and quantifying all aspects of site works. It’s also to fun to get creative and find different ways it can help answer questions you may have about your jobsite.

Prior to my role as a GPS specialist with Dobbs I have worked as an equipment operator, a site foreman, and a project manager. I enjoy site work and being involved in all aspects from start to finish, I made the jump to a technology focused role, as I wanted to be directly involved with it from the forefront. I thoroughly take pride in helping our customers get the most “juice” out of their squeeze when utilizing all different types GPS technology on their jobsites. My background in operating heavy equipment, and managing multiple large earthmoving sites, has helped lead me and our customers to great success in the field when utilizing all different types of machine technology.
